Each Session focus:

  • Adapt a jacket. Bring your own jacket from your wardrobe or an op shop.

  • Bring your own project. Teacher present to share skills and help you gain confidence on the machine. CANCELLED due to insufficient numbers.

  • Beginners refresher- gain basic machine skills and confidence.

  • Thrift a dress. Let’s alter a dress to fit well or make it into something else.​

  • Bring your own project. eg hem a pair of jeans.  Teacher present to share skills and help you gain confidence on the machine.

  • Bring your own project perhaps finish a project from an earlier workshop. Teacher present to share skills and help you gain confidence on the machine.

Gaye's workshops not only focus on developing skills, learning about different art techniques, exploring different mediums and learning about varying art styles, it is also a way to assist children to enjoy the process of creating and the peacefulness that expanding creativity brings. 

Age: Primary 3-6yrs

Tuesdays 4 - 5:30pm

Age: High School 7-10yrs

Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:30pm

School Holiday Programs

Gaye hosts a variety of school holiday programs, which will have different themes to keep children interested. 

Please check our events page or Facebook events to register for upcoming holiday programs.

Makerspace creative crafters workshop:  

Circle of Friends would love you to join them on the 4th Saturday each month from 10am.

Do you have interests in a variety of textile and art mediums such as hand stitching, machine sewing, mixed media, design, knitting, crochet, embroidery, weaving, up cycling clothes, recycling textiles or paper and macrame to name a few....

​

We have a Table Top Gaming Group that loves to welcome new people to come and join them. They can be found at MakerSapce on alternate Tuesdays 7pm – 10pm – If you haven’t been to this group in the past, please contact our Reception team on 6583 7288 to check the next session coming up.

LifeSkills Express is a person-centred program designed to deliver learning and skills development in a holistic, experiential manner, focusing on strengths rather than limitations.

​

It provides a blend of life and independent living skills interspersed with the personal tools needed to encourage self-reliance, enable the realisation of individual capacities and potential, and fulfil the needs and aspirations of each individual to achieve valued roles in the community.   Our term 3 Program is run on Wed or Thu during School Terms between 10am – 3pm – head to our website here for more information: https://www.mnccc.edu.au/lse

Certificate II in Skills for work and vocational pathways. Our MakerSpace wood work area or shed is used for a variety of streams. If you would like to know more about enrolling in a Certificate course, please contact us on admin@mnccc.edu.au or give us a call on 65837288.
