The Mini Makers Series is a program of creative opportunities for kids designed to inspire creativity and curiosity. Age Recommendation: 8yrs and over Do you like drawing or painting? What if you could build a robot that creates its own art? In this workshop, Art will meet science and technology as you will create your own Art Bot, a robot with markers for “legs” that wiggles across a piece of paper, creating drawings as it moves. Learn about basic electric circuits and other simple engineering principles. This is a beginner-level project with no robotics experience necessary, so if you want to try building your own robot, this 2.5 hour workshop is a great place to start! Course cost includes kit, class handouts. Additional Electronics and other 'Give it a Crack' Packs available for purchase from $4.95

Refunds/Cancellations: Refunds in full will only be given for classes cancelled by MakerSpace. Once a course is committed to start, four (4) days prior to start date, funds are allocated, locked and cannot be refunded. Refunds will only be given to a student withdrawing from a course if the student notifies MakerSpace, at least four (4) working days prior to the commencement of the course. A $15 administration & processing fee will be charged. No administration fee is charged for participants transferring their enrolment fee to another course date if the intent to transfer is communicated to MakerSpace at least four (4) days prior to the start of the course.
