Mini Makers - Artbot

The Mini Makers Series is a program of creative opportunities for children designed to inspire creativity and curiosity. 

Age Recommendation: 7yrs and over

Do you like drawing or painting? What if you could build a robot that creates its own art? In this workshop, Art will meet science and technology as you will create your own Art Bot, a robot with markers for “legs” that wiggles across a piece of paper, creating drawings as it moves. Learn about basic electric circuts and other simple engineering principles.

This is a beginner-level project with no robotics experience necessary, so if you want to try building your own robot, this is a great place to start! Suitable for children over 7 years.
